I’m a multidisciplinary art director and designer with a passion for media, politics, global culture, and storytelling, based in Washington, D.C.

Most recently, I was creative director of Foreign Policy where I oversaw a complete overhaul of the title’s print, branding and web entities. More about FP's print redesign is here and here, and below.

Previous to this, I was a 2013 fellow at Code for America in San Francisco working in civic technology, design director of Newsweek where I lead the creative team for the last print issue of the magazine, an adjunct professor at the School of Visual Arts teaching a portfolio thesis class, and associate art director of Print.

I’m currently working on a new site and new projects launching in late spring 2015. In the meantime, I’m mainly tweeting and instagramming. Feel free to drop me a line for business or other inquiries.
